A traditional family-run guest-house with a history of over 100 years.
Amarakos is situated in the village of Kato Akourdalia, in the island of Cyprus, in Paphos district, a small picturesque village, with panoramic views, looking down to Chryssohou valley.
Amarakos has been renovated with traditional materials and techniques which make it unique for its kind. It's situated near Polis, the Ancient Marion and 35 km from the Paphos airport.

During your stay at Amarakos you'll have the opportunity to get a taste and experience the authentic life of a small Cypriot village.

In Amarakos...

 

Life here, has been kept with the traditional way as was for hundreds of years,
with the modern facilities blended together. The place is situated in a very, very quiet village.

Here Yiayia is preparing the traditional recipe which will be left to the sun to dry....Later on,that will be a soup !

  

Cyprus is sunny all year.

Average is 18 C (winter), 34 C (summer)

Many beaches exist in a few km distance. Around 15 minutes with a car.
